Job Summary 
Prairie Operating Co. is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Division Order Analyst to join our Land Administration team. This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining accurate ownership records and division of interest (DOI) setups for assets located in the DJ Basin. The ideal candidate will have advanced experience with Quorum OnDemand, strong analytical capabilities, and a commitment to process improvement and documentation.
 
Essential Functions 
  • Analyze title opinions, leases, deeds, probate documents, conveyances, and contracts to determine ownership interests.
  • Establish and maintain Revenue and Joint Interest Billing (JIB) decks for both operated and non-operated wells.
  • Process complex ownership changes, title curative issues, and pay code adjustments.
  • Ensure DOI accuracy and data integrity using Quorum OnDemand.
  • Resolve ownership discrepancies and suspended fund issues in compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations.
  • Coordinate with Land, Legal, and Accounting departments on DOI validation and revenue reporting.
  • Prepare and distribute accurate Division Orders and Transfer Orders.
  • Lead the creation and ongoing maintenance of departmental standard operating procedures and internal process documentation.
  • Provide mentorship to junior analysts and conduct quality control of DOI work.
  • Assist with acquisition/divestiture due diligence and audit responses.
QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Energy Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Division Order or Land Administration roles.
  • Experience with Quorum OnDemand is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of lease interpretation, revenue distribution, and regulatory requirements related to oil and gas ownership.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
