Salary Range: | $85,000 - $120, 000 |
Essential Functions
- Review and approve leases, contracts and other legal documents in the land system of record to ensure critical obligations, provisions, payment information, and acreage is captured accurately
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of bonus, extension, rental, shut-in and minimum royalties
- Monitor monthly obligations and expirations
- Maintain lease files
- Create and maintain departmental process and procedures
- Coordinate closely with Land, Division Orders, and Accounting to ensure proper workflow and assist with special projects
- Assist Land Administration Manager with SEC reporting requirements and audits
- Assist Land Administration Manager with land system implementation, upgrades and enhancements
- Generate and review weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual Land reports
- Perform and assume other duties and responsibilities as may be required at the direction of the Land Administration Manager
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma required, College degree preferred
- Minimum 8 years industry experience, DJ Basin experience preferred
- Land database experience required, BOLO experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of duties of Lease Analyst and functions of Lease Records Department and the experience to perform same; Strong technical knowledge, analytical expertise and attention to detail
- Excellent oral, written communication and customer service skills
